WATERLOO, IA (KGAN) -- An afternoon run in George Wyth Park becomes scary for one woman. "All the years that they've had these trails probably 20 years or more there's never been any incident that I can recall," says Jim RocheMonday afternoon Waterloo police say an unidentified woman jogger was stabbed in the shoulder by 19-year-old Blake Andrew Houser as he rode by on a bicycle. Police say the woman managed to escape and get help. She managed to get a good look at Houser and provided a detailed description to police. Houser was picked up on another side of the park and was armed with a knife. "I have always felt safe too by myself but now something like this happens makes you really wonder," says Joyce Roche. According to police this isn't Houser's first offense. Houser was charged for the same crime on another woman last year and park regulars are now resting easy knowing Houser is no longer a threat. "You might have to keep looking around you and I don't' want to live in ! a world like that," Joyce Roche said Houser was charged with willful injuring, carrying weapons and going with intent. Houser is being held by Waterloo Police and will be booked into the Black Hawk County Jail.
